11 subway and bus safety tips

1.    Use only entrances market by green indicator, there is a subway station clerk present 24 hours a day.

2.    Have money or metro card available.

3.    Use designated waiting areas during off-peak hours.

4.    Ride in the conductor’s car during off-peak hours.

5.    Sit in the center of the car, away from the door, to avoid a purse or chain snatch.

6.    Cover Jewelry; turn stone rings toward the palm side of your hand.

7.    Stay awake and aware and exit with the crowd.

8.    Wait and walk close to the wall.

9.    Wait for the bus on the sidewalk away from the curb.

10.    Sit near the front of the bus.

11.    Be aware of your wallet/purse to avoid a pick-pocket.
