Pinkston leads Loughlin to CHSAA ‘AA’ semis: On Friday night, Jayvaughn Pinkston led Bishop Loughlin past All Hallows, 64-54, in the CHSAA Class AA intersectional quarterfinals at Christ the King in Queens. Read more here.
The Lions meet Rice in Wednesday’s (3/10/2010) semifinals at St. John’s University at 8 p.m.
Led by CHSAA Player of the Year Jayvaughn Pinkston, the Bishop Loughlin Lions ended their regular season with a 20-4 record. They continued their winning ways in the playoffs by defeating Xaverian 54-52 in the Brooklyn/Queens Diocesan semifinals on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 @ St. Francis Prep. Bishop Loughlin loss the Brooklyn/Queens Diocesan title game to Christ the King, 66-61, at Holy Cross HS in Queens Saturday night, but earned the top Brooklyn/Queens seed in the upcoming CHSAA Class AA intersectional playoffs. Top-ranked Loughlin (21-5) will play either St. Francis Prep or All Hallows in the quarterfinals. Read more
