Video - There is a documentary being developed by Directors Nelson George and Diane Paragas about the black arts movement in Fort Greene from the mid 1980s through the 90s. The film is entitled “A Walk Through Fort Greene,” and is in production. It features interviews with Spike Lee, Chris Rock, Rosie Perez, Vernon Reid, Carl Hancock Rux, Saul Williams, Lorna Simpson, Alva Rogers, Kevin Powell, Toure and Bill Stephany.
