Power Lunch is a unique literacy and mentoring program which pairs volunteers with children in nearby elementary schools for weekly one-to-one lunchtime reading. It's a great opportunity to share conversation and good books with a young child in the neighborhood.
 
You can serve as a Power Lunch Reading Buddy at two locations and the details are as follows:
 
Public School 270
Tuesday or Thursday
11:25am - 12:25pm (Grades 1 - 5)
 
Community Partnership Charter School
Monday or Wednesday
Early Lunch: 12noon - 1pm (Grades 1st & 2nd)
Late Lunch: 1pm - 2pm (Grades 3rd - 5th)
